Welcome to OriginDot, a privacy-first social platform operated by Psyque.net ("we", "us", "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, applications, APIs, and other services we provide (collectively, the "Platform"). By using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Our Mission
OriginDot is a privacy-first social platform with a mission to rethink social media by prioritizing user well-being, genuine connection, and privacy. We operate on an ethical, subscription-based business model, which means our success is aligned with your satisfaction, not data exploitation.
2. Account Registration & Use
- Eligibility: You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum legal age in your country, whichever is higher) to create an account.
- Accurate Information: You agree to provide accurate and current information when creating an account.
- Account Sharing: You may not share accounts or credentials with others.
- Account Security: You are responsible for safeguarding your account. We encourage you to use a strong password and limit its use to this account. We cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with the above.
3. Age Verification
OriginDot does not allow users below the minimum legal age. Age verification is on our roadmap. If required by law and/or if enabled in the future, you may be asked to complete a third-party age verification process to access certain features. If verification is completed, we may retain a record of verification as required by law or for fraud prevention.
4. Subscription and Payments
OriginDot is funded by user subscriptions, not advertising.
- Fees: By selecting a subscription plan, you agree to pay Psyque.net the specified fees.
- Payment: Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis (e.g., monthly or annually). You will be charged on the day you sign up for a subscription and it will cover the use of that service for the subscription period as indicated.
- Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. The cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
- Refunds: We do not provide refunds for past billing cycles unless required by law.
Payment information is handled by third-party payment processors.
5. Your Content
- You Own Your Content: You retain ownership of all content you post, upload, or share on the Platform.
- License to Us: By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, copy, reproduce, process, adapt, modify, publish, transmit, display, and distribute such content in any and all media or distribution methods now known or later developed for the purposes of operating and providing the Platform to you and to other users. This license is necessary for us to, for example, show your posts to other users. You are not giving us permission to sell your data or use your content for any purpose other than providing the service.
6. Acceptable Use
- Engaging in illegal, harassing, or threatening behavior.
- Posting content that is hateful, threatening, or pornographic.
- Posting or distributing deceptive deepfakes or intentional misinformation designed to mislead others.
- Sending unsolicited mass messages, spam, or solicitations.
- Using automated systems (bots, scrapers, crawlers) or data harvesting tools without our prior written permission.
- Attempting to access or search the Platform through any means other than our publicly supported interfaces.

- Interfering with or disrupting the access of any user, host, or network.
Our goal is to foster authentic, clean, and uncluttered social interactions. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these principles.
7. Our Rights
All rights, title, and interest in and to the Platform (excluding content provided by users) are and will remain the exclusive property of Psyque.net and its licensors.
8. Termination
You are free to stop using our Platform at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, without notice.

10. AI and Automated Systems
Some features may use automated systems or AI to assist you (e.g., content organization or moderation tools). These systems provide information only and do not constitute professional advice (legal, medical, financial, etc.). Decisions based on automated insights are your sole responsibility.
11. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
